1 - Where did your passion for drawings come from? What are your inspirations?

I've always been artistic, ever since I was little. I loved reproducing Disney artworks when I was a kid, later on it developed into a love for drawing and creating clothes. Which then turned into a desire for storytelling. I have kept my love for fashion, and I'm inspired by it a lot when I create stories and characters.

2 - What is a typical workday like for you and what is your creative process like?

I'd love to say I have perfected my routine, but I really try to have one when I can. I usually wake up early and work on answering emails while having breakfast. Then I will work until 5pm (ish), on a script, a cover, interior pages, depending what is on the schedule for that day. I'll take a break between 5 and 8pm to workout, have dinner and relax a little bit. I will then go back to work until bedtime, I'm not going to lie, I do bring my ipad to bed to keep working sometimes... (often).

3 - What are some of the biggest challenges or frustrations you've had to deal with in creating art?

Managing my work, and being able to plan ahead financially is very important, you never know how things are going to plan out. You have to be able to have a financial safe space if something happens. No one ever taught me how to manage the financial aspect of this career, so I have been through a lot of trial and error over the years. It's not the most glamorous part, but it's something you really have to dive into and learn if you want to be doing freelance work.

4 - I love your work Over My Dead Body, Eat, and Love Yourself and Harley Quinn. So far, what is the most challenging and memorable job of your life?

It's impossible for me to choose, all the projects I have worked on have been special, challenging and memorable in their own ways. I feel extremely lucky to be able to write my own stories like Over My Dead Body, or also share about my own personal traumas like with Eat, and Love Yourself. And I cannot put into words how amazing of an experience it is to be drawing Harley Quinn, so it's fantastic all around!

5 - What are your opinions on the digital vs traditional art debate?

I don't see why a debate is needed. It's really up to each individual to choose what medium they prefer and are the most comfortable working with.

6 - Any tips for young artists?

It's really easy to get impatient about "making it" in the industry, and of course you should be focusing on getting there. But try to enjoy the process, it's a career that can sometimes take time, every little step matters!
